i am so sorry I have been so behind on all of this! OUr summer is still just as busy and crazy as it was a few weeks ago. Cory did have a break yesterday and we were able to go to the birmingham zoo and it was fun!! Cade loved it!!! I will work on the pictures and then upload them soon.I also had a Kamin Williams a friend of mine take some pictures of Cade and i will upload those as well !
I hope and pray that this letter finds you all doing well. COry and Cade and baby girl , and myself are all great just ready for a long vacation i n september!!!

Busy, Busy, Busy!

Sorry, it has been forever since I updated my page. THings have been busy around here. Our Summer has officially started! I have been starting our summer staff duties and Camp Happy Days planning and finishing up VBS!! And I also found out that I am having a girl!!!!
November 7th is my due date and it may be a fight to the very end on a name! Cory has some interesting choices in mind to say the least! Anyway, Life with a 1 1/2 year old is getting interesting. I have cleaned so much crayon off of every surface in my house! and i think the terrible twos might be starting a little early, we like pitching fits and especially in public!
Hopefully I will do a little better keeping up with my page!!

Sorry is has been so long since I have logged in but things have been busy!!

A special announcement!!

I know that it has been a while since I have written but life has been kind of crazy!!
First - our good news is that I am pregnant with our second baby!! I am due the first week of november so I get to go through another summer with a big belly!!
It has been kind of crazy around here because along with all of my morning sickness well this time it is all day everyday sickness, Cade got the flu! He was so sick but thankfully my mom and cory's mom came to the rescue! Because just as he was getting over it I got it and because i am prego I can't take any medication but tylenol and that really doesn't cut it so I am slowly getting back to normal but thankfully cory is not sick so hopefully it will stay that way!!!
I hope that you all have a great week and think about me as i lysol my entire house from that nasty little flu bug( but my luck i will smellthe lysol and then have to throw up! funny but true!!)

Snow Day!

He didn't really care too much for it so these pictures
were forced. As soon as i put him in the snow he would

He did like watching it from the window, and that is basically what
he did all day!

Cade's special day!

Today was Cade's special day with mom.
We ate at chick-fil-a for lunch and then went to get his very
first hair cut!! yes i did cry but just a little!
He sat in the chair like such a big boy and didn't say a word.
He sat so still and and played with small toy cat!
After that we went to the pet store and played with a few
cats and bought some mice for Cory's snake!( yes for those of you who don't know cory has a snake that he keeps in his office!! his name is "the duce" since his last snake choked to death!)
what a fun time!!
But in the last picture you can see that after his hair cut he looks like
a little boy not a baby!!
Man time goes by fast!

Cade and I got the chance this weekend and spend some time with Cory's parents and grandparents. His Momaw and Popaw celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary so we
had them a reception on Sunday afternoon! Cade has always liked to go to Popaw's house and
ride the tractor and feed the horses and play with the dogs! I took these pictures at the reception and you can tell that Cade loves his Popaw!!

Happy Valentines Day

No pictures today!
Just wanted to write about my valentines day and brag on Cory for a minute.
(We both were going to be busy on valentines day so we had to celebrate it early.)
I use to think that a great present involved lots of expensive things, flowers, going out to eat, spa treatments, going away for the weekend. Don't get me wrong all of that is great and I love it (so Cory if you are reading this, do not count those things out in the future for other occasions!!! )But tonight I got the greatest gift ever - his TIME!
He has been telling me that the plans were all a surprise for a week now so I was in suspense!
He got a babysitter and set up the living room and we watched a movie together( fireproof - good movie - not hollywood actors but good movie and great message)It was a great christian movie but more than that I just enjoyed spending quality, uninterrupted, TIME with him.
He also got us a book that encourages couples to keep learning and trusting God on how to love each other more. We don't know where God is gonna lead us in the future and sometimes that can be scary but we do know that we have gotta love each other more than ever and take the TIME to pray over and strengthen our marriage so that He can use us as a family.
We get so busy sometimes that sitting down for a long period of time,together,without being ridiculously tired can be hard to come by, so tonight was special and I wanted to share it with you.
What a guy huh? I think so.
I prayed for years over my husband before I met him and I could have never imagined anyone any greater than Cory!
It was the best valentines day yet!!
(okay I am through gushing now! )

Disciple Now Weekend

Excel's D - Now weekend went really well!
Of course Cory did a great job preaching and we met a new band from Auburn
called Arms of Eden and they were really good.
We had a great time and I think the kids did too!

This weekend Cory and I are in Excel, AL. Cory is preaching the church's Disciple Now weekend!

It is going really well! This afternoon I got to spend some time taking a few pictures of Cade and of course he posed but I also found out that he wasn't too fond of the Jack the horse!!

This was as close as he came to petting him!!

Cade just makes me laugh!
He was crying today and just pitching a one year old little fit but as soon
as I pulled out the camera he knew exactly what to do! His sad frown turned into
a smile ! Isn't he just the cutest thing ever!!

Working with Daddy!

The new little slide show that you see is Cade going to work with his daddy.

As you can tell he wants to be a big boy and do everything daddy does but he is just too little

and that ropes course is way too high ( if it was up to me he would never be big enough to go that high! it still makes me nervous to see Cory up there) Anyway, Shocco also has a new game, it is like paintball but it uses soft rubber balls and you can play it indoors. Cade tried to help there too but the balls were way to fun and he had to jump in! He also might have been a small distraction while his dad was giving instructions to the group!

Overall he had a fun day especially because it was with his daddy!

Girls Night!

Just wanted to say thanks to my girls for such a fun time! We left the kids and husbands at home for a few hours and took a painting class. Don't get me wrong, I love being a wife and a mother as you can clearly tell by my webpage but it was nice to get to bring MY PURSE with me and no diapers or wipes or sippy cups and to actually get to eat when the food was brought to me hot without having to feed someone else first!

I loved coming home to my precious family but it was also nice just being with the girls! Thank you guys for such a great time, for letting me be myself and always making me laugh! Love you!

Christmas was busy but it was great! Getting to visit all the family was wonderful! But

the best part was getting to steal a moment with my sweet baby Cade and try out my new camera! This is hands down the best part of being a mom - Precious moments like this!!
